The new Marketo New Email Designer simplifies email creation with drag & drop functionality and advanced features like AI-powered content and content locking.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how to dive in:

1️⃣ Check yout prerequisites

Adobe IMS Migration: Ensure your Marketo instance has migrated to IMS to unlock the new editor.

GenAI Terms: Sign the Adobe GenAI terms if you want to use AI-driven content and images (Adobe Firefly).

2️⃣ Create or import email temlates

Design from Scratch: Build a new template with a blank canvas, dragging in columns, images, text blocks, and more.

Import HTML: Use pre-made templates or older Marketo assets. Note that drag & drop editing may be more limited on imported blocks.

Sample Templates: Use Adobe sample templates to start your journey in the new email editor.

3️⃣ Build reusable fragments (the new snippets)

Drag & Drop, Too: Unlike the old Snippets (HTML-based), Fragments are edited visually, just like any other content block.
